START OF YEAR INFORMATION
|
We all hope you have had a lovely Summer break (yes it has been Summer) and that you are beginning to get excited about returning to school. The amazing Alfriston School staff are back onboard preparing the classrooms and the engaging Term 1 learning programme for you all.
Preparing for Day 1……Tuesday 7th February 2023
Stationery – Payments are loaded onto learner Kindo accounts. You will need to pay online and then the stationery pack will be delivered to your child’s classroom. This allows the teacher to set up the stationery with all learners in the first few days of the year.
New Uniform – This is also to be purchased via Kindo. Select the size you believe is right for your child and then come and collect the uniform
Second-Hand Uniform – The 2nd Hand Uniform shop will be open on the 2nd of February 2023 from 4.30 pm-5.30 pm should you wish to purchase before Term 1 2023. If you have any clean and suitable uniform donations you can drop these off at the office on the 1st Feb (2pm-6pm).
The 2nd Hand shop will also be open on 8 February 2023 from 2.15pm-3pm, then every first Wednesday of the month.
Drop Off Time – Our school gates are open at 8.00am each morning, please do not drop learners off before this time. This is an important Health and Safety request.

On Wednesday 15th February we would like all whānau to attend one of our two ‘Setting Up for Success’ sessions. A session will start at 3pm and another at 5pm.
The sessions will start in the PAC with Senior Leadership members sharing important whole-school information. At the end of this time, whānau can go to their child’s class where each teacher will share information specific to their class.
This is an event we ask you to prioritise
as it will really set us up for a successful 2023.
