Term 4 Reminders and Updates

As staff we let the learners know how excited we were to be back at school and explained just how quiet (and boring) it is without the learners at school in the term break – it was so good to see their smiley faces and hear their holiday stories today 🙂

REMINDER: Term 4 is hat term!
All learners and staff must wear hats so that we keep ourselves sun safe. Well done to the learners and staff who were prepared today.
We spoke about this in today’s assemblies so from tomorrow no hat will mean playing in the shade areas.
If you have ordered and are awaiting a school hat please bring an alternative in the meantime.

Time To Shine Picnic and Concert – this is a highlight of the year and we want EVERYONE there. Please pencil in Monday 11th November 4.30pm – 7.30pm into your dairies. This is a chance for all learners to perform to a large audience, and is great fun!

UPDATE: End of Year Prize Givings
The date for these events has been highlighted for a while…..Friday 15th December. We can now confirm times……
Year 0-3 Prize Giving = 9.00am
Years 4-8 Prize Giving = 11.00am
We will not be phoning to pre warn whānau of award recipients, we hope that you find enjoyment in attending and are willing to celebrate the success of all Alfriston School learners.
