Kia ora and welcome to the first addition of our Alfriston School Admin News.
After my recent P.L.D. and then a follow up meeting in which we gathered some useful whānau voice our school written communication is going to be slightly different.
There will now be 2 communications:
Admin News – the purpose being to ensure our school community has the day to day information they need to be fully informed. The upcoming events and dates etc.
This communication will be sent out 3 times a term….on a Sunday (as this is when you will be thinking school again :))
Living Our Vision News – the purpose is to celebrate and share information relating to our school’s 3 Strategic Goals (Hauora-Wellbeing, Ako-Teaching and Learning and Arotake – Ongoing Internal Evaluation) as these along with our school’s values underpin who we are and lead to our school vision being lived and achieved.
This communication will be sent out 3 times a term….on a Wednesday 🙂
We hope you appreciate the information being filtered so that each communication has a clear purpose that is not ‘muddied’ by too much information.
