Kia ora whānau,
I have received an email from a very caring parent this morning letting me know that her family have strep throat. She has asked me to inform our school community as she knows that strep throat can lead to other more serious illnesses and that it is highly contagious. She has spoken of ignoring her son’s symptoms as they are not visible (sore throat for one), however having had it herself now she knows how horrible it is.
I thank this parent for living our school vision of ‘a community of learners supporting each other’. Thinking of others and sharing information/knowledge is a true example of an Alfriston School member.
As we head into the holidays take care of each other and stay well.
