Chatz After School Programme

Chatz afterschool care program operates Monday to Friday 2.45pm – 6pm

Chatz in owned and managed by Lisa and Sean Jarvie. Lisa qualified as an Early Childhood Teacher. They are both experienced with working with children from birth to 13 years old and have managed after school programs and holiday care programs over the last 15 years. Lisa is also experienced in managing Early Childhood Centres. Both Sean and Lisa hold current first aid certificates.

 

Afternoon Schedule: 

2.45pm-3.30pm	Children arrived from class. Catch up and unwind. Staff record attendance and locate late comers. Older children play, younger children have afternoon tea
3.30pm-3.50pm	The younger children head out for playtime while the older children come in for afternoon tea
3.50pm-4.15pm	Children are placed in homework groups with a staff member overseeing that homework is completed and offering help where required. Children without homework will be encourage to read quietly
4.15pm-5.15pm	Free Time. Art & Craft, Inside/outside play, Toys.
5.15pm-5.25pm	Tidy up time
5.25pm-6.00pm	Organised games

 

Fees: Fees are to be paid one week in advance by automatic payment. A $10 penalty fee will be charged for all overdue fees. 

Lateness: All children must be collected before 6pm. Parents must have a backup person to collect their child if they are unable to by 6pm. A late fee of $10 per 10 mins or part thereof. 

Absentees: Fees are still payable  for sessions booked where children do not attend. Parents must inform if their child will not be attending before 2.30pm by leaving a message on the center phone
